Pricing

Pricing is not set yet

Outfitter is in early access. Rather than print numbers we would have to take back, here is exactly where things stand, what you get today, and what will eventually cost money.

Talk to us

The honest state of these two plans. Today they entitle the same features. Publishing, the read-only API and single sign-on are on both, and seat and workspace ceilings are unlimited on both. The difference between them is a business decision nobody has made yet, and we would rather ship the seam unpriced than invent a number and constrain somebody by it.

What we can commit to

Three things pricing will not do

Safety is not a tier

The dry run, the approval requirements, the caps, the kill switches and the audit trail are the product. None of them will ever sit behind an upgrade, because a cheaper plan that publishes with less review is a worse product, not a cheaper one.

No charge per change

Metering the thing you want people to review carefully creates a reason to batch changes that should have been looked at separately. Whatever the model ends up being, it will not be per published item.

No surprise on the way in

Early access accounts will be told what pricing is before it applies to them, with enough notice to decide. If a number lands somewhere you cannot live with, you export your audit trail and go.

FAQ

The questions we actually get

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It is the default plan, everything runs on it, and an account that never pays stays fully functional. When Pro gets a price, the free plan is what it will be priced against.

What will Pro actually be for?

Limits and support. The blast-radius ceiling, the aggregate money cap per workspace, and seat and workspace ceilings are the natural dials. All of those enforcement points exist and are tested. They just are not set to anything restrictive today.

Do I pay for the ad spend Outfitter changes?

No. Outfitter never touches your billing relationship with a platform. It changes campaign settings through the platform's API using credentials you supply. Your spend is billed by Google, Meta or Microsoft exactly as it is now.

Is there an agency arrangement?

Workspaces are built for it, with one account, a workspace per client and a switcher between them. Ceilings are uncapped today. If you are running dozens of client accounts, tell us that when you get in touch, because that is the shape we most want to price correctly.

Can I self-host?

Outfitter ships as a container and runs against PostgreSQL, so it is technically straightforward. Whether we support it as an arrangement is part of the same conversation as pricing. Ask.

Early access is open. If you have a view on what this should cost, we would rather hear it now than guess.
